Thresher shark in Jervis Bay
May 19, 2012
Scott Sheehan www.marinemammalresearch.com took this great photo of a leaping thresher shark on Saturday (19/05/12) just offshore from Point Perpendicular, Jervis Bay in NSW while searching for humpback whales. He was observing a pod of common dolphins and fur seals feeding on a bait ball when the thresher shark leaped from the water on board Dolphin Watch Cruises - Jervis Bay
